What Does It Take (Lyrics)
Written by Jim Glaser
I guess my lovin' just ain't good
enough for you
Everytime I turn my head you look at someone new
Your kind don't like walkin' babe, you want an
easy ride
Chorus:
What Does It Take, to keep a woman like you
satisfied
You've got a plan in mind, to make things come
your way
I wonder if it's worth the price you're gonna'
have to pay
'Cause life gets cold and empty when your self
respect has died
Chorus:
What Does It Take, to keep a woman like you
satisfied
You need more love than you can get from just one
man
Someday youll taste your cup of life and find it
filled with sand
And then you'll have to turn and face the girl
within
From where I stand I don't think you'll be proud
of where she's been
And when your running from yourself, there ain't
no place to hide
Chorus:
What Does It Take, to keep a woman like you
satisfied |
Walk Unashamed (Lyrics)
Written by Jim Glaser
I feel your gentle fingers
reaching out to search the pockets of my mind
I watch your eyes to see what they will say to
all the need you're gonna' find
Will I be welcome when I reach for you
Will you grow soft and say you want me too
Chorus:
Baby, Walk Unashamed with me out into the night
Don't be afraid to feel anything, it's alright
Love is waiting there for us to take, let's take
it now
I'll show you how
Chorus:
Author's note:
I was always delighted with this album from the
first time I heard it. Especially loving "All
That Keeps 'Ya Goin'" and further, that the songs
on this album were the soundtrack from the movie
"tick...tick...tick", which I was fortunate to
see, I became quite curious as to how the songs
were selected. I finally asked Jim how that came
to be. He replied, "That movie was made by MGM,
the same company that the Glaser Brothers were
recording for at that time. The movie had a
completely different musical score, with all
different songs, etc., and for some reason MGM
had decided not to release it. The Glaser
Brothers contract was up for renewal at that time
and, as a bonus to get us to re-sign with them, Tompall negotiated the deal by which he re-scored
the movie with our music. The film turned out to
be one of MGM’s biggest grossing film of that
year".
Neat, huh?
