Hi all-
Jim is checking
with the Country Music Magazine's powers to be and is awaiting
permission to let excerpts and a copy of the photograph be posted to
a web page. I will give you an update on that as soon as I
know anything.

My apologies to
those of you that have been checking in here and found that you
host, yours truly, has been absent. Further, that you have not
been able to reach me via E-Mail. I had to change the address
due to the immense bombardment of spam.
My lifestyle
was temporarily interrupted which diverted me away from a previous
routine, however, things seem to be back in some semblance of order.
So, next on my agenda is to write a mini overview of the article on
Jim which appears in the Weekly Country Music Magazine for July.
Please check back by Friday the 16th. My task is to make sure
that the excellent picture of Jim, (in the magazine), is not
copyrighted.
I hope all of
you are doing well!

Number one topic!
Presenting Jim's
new CD, "Me And My Dream", released February, 2004.
This long awaited album was well worth the wait. Jim triumphs
again, selecting revised versions of his previously recorded,
"She's Free But She's Not Easy", "I See His Love All Over
You" and "Hard Times", the classic written by Stephen
Foster. Aside from "Hard Times", all other
selections on this album were either written or co-written by Jim,
confirming his accomplishments as a song-writer. Maintaining
loyalty to his smooth, contemporary delivery, Jim's voice remains as
clean and strong as ever. More about "Me And My Dream"
New Additions:
JIM GLASER WITH
CARL HILEMAN:
Carl Hileman, a
professional and very talented
photographer, and Jim, have been long
time friends sharing this
mutual talent together over a period
of years. Carl's pictures are
seen throughout the book, "A Country
Music Christmas", (1996), jointly
written by Jim, Cathie Pelletier and Patsi Bale Cox. Jim and Carl met recently for a 'photo shoot'
to finalize a picture of Jim that graces Jim's new CD.
Jim has sent me some adorable, new
pictures of his pets, which I have placed on the 'Pet's Page'.
There have been some changes in his fur-family, sadly, the loss of
Shep, a faithful companion of Jim's for years, but a happy new
addition, a sweet little calico cat. Her bio has been added as well.
Some new pictures will also appear
throughout this site, courtesy of Jim himself as well as photos from
Terry Denton's collection of Jim Glaser stuff, to include some
trivia taken from some articles that Terry also sent me.
Thanks to you both!
A few notes...
While there
have been no major changes in the content on this website, I decided
to change its appearance a bit. Thus, a more contemporary look
and a bit more consistent. A few more
songs, as sung by Jim, have been added in random pages throughout,
plus lyrics to all the songs on Jims new CD, "Me And My Dream".
The 'Song Index' link should be helpful to you in locating each
selection. The Guest Book currently under
revision and will be up as soon as possible. All efforts were made
to make sure all the links connected as they should, however,
sometimes one or two fail. Please report these to me when you
notice them. Or any other trouble spots for that matter.
E-Mail Me
Temporarily, there will be no changes
to 'The Glaser Brothers' site.
Future additions will include a
mini-biography as well as adding more
songs. I would appreciate any
input from fans and friends who may
have followed them through the years,
possibly were lucky enough to have
seen their shows, or generally,
have pictures and written material.
Please keep checking back!

TROUBLESHOOTING MUSIC FILES:
You will need to have Windows Media
Player installed to hear the song
files. In most operating
systems, this player is automatically
installed and if you cannot hear
the music or see the 'Play' and
'Stop' buttons in the pages with
music, please check the player's
'settings' to ensure that 'all types'
of audio files is selected. In pages containing music, there is
a
'play' and 'stop' button, located at the top of the page. If
at first you do not hear the music after double clicking on the
'play' button, please try again.

The music on this site has been

possible, to include dial up
