I am an avid fan of Jim Glaser and a long time fan of "Tompall And The Glaser Brothers". My love of their music started as far back as the 60's and continued through the early 80's. Their albums became my favorites of all the 'oldies' that I had in my collection and I dug them out frequently to listen to, even during the past 20 years. I recall that I had purchased, (one of many), the album, "tick...tick...tick...", by Tompall And the Glaser Brothers, in the early 70's just after its release. One very special song from that album, "All That Keeps Ya Goin", remains a favorite of mine to this day. I remember how much the harmony appealed to me, especially the high tenor voice belonging to Jim. Little did I know then that it was actually Jim's voice sometimes singing above the melody. I would look at the pictures on their albums and try to guess who that voice belonged to. Somehow, my eyes would always go to the pictures of Jim, yet I still could not be sure. After hearing songs from Jim's albums in the 80's, I realized that it was Jim's voice all along that indeed, was music to my ears. In April of 2001, much to my surprise and pleasure, I learned that Jim was going to make an appearance in Dollywood the following June. Of course I went to see him and also got to meet him. Thus began my project here.

Mostly, I have Jim to thank for his support and patient encouragement. I have learned so much from him about those years while he was immersed in his music and I reaped the benefits of those songs by Tompall And The Glaser Brothers and later, his own albums.  I am most thankful to Jim for remaining true to a soft, contemporary style of music that has not been marred by a continual and relentless passion to drastically change with the times as is what seems to happen to good music over the years.  His new album, "Me And My Dream", speaks of his dedication and the love of his music.

Thank you, Jim.  I, along with many others, sure do appreciate you.

Additional thanks and credits:

For the consideration and kindness of the many fans and friends of Jim's  who, perhaps unknowingly, have helped in some way to put this site together.  It is with your hard work, support and  the sharing of your knowledge and memorabilia that make these gifts to our  special performers possible.  To all of you,  I know how time consuming this can be and I acknowledge your hard work. Thank you also for the many E-mails I received in appreciation of this website. You all have added to my inspiration.

Special thanks to the following people for their extended help:

To STAN LAUNDON for the links, articles and album covers from his website tribute to Jim and Jimmy Payne, who go back  such a long way together. Both, can justifiably  boast of  label credits for co-writing many songs,  one of which is "Woman, Woman", a chart topper in 1967 as sung by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap.

To JACK AND MARGIE, from North Carolina, always faithful friends who were my 'test pilots' when I began this project.  Also, for sending me copies of some of the album covers  and songs lacking in my collection that appear on this site. But not for them, I honestly believe that I would never have been in the right place and the right time to have come this far.

To TERRY from Charleston, Tennessee, perhaps one of Jim's biggest fans, for songs, photos and articles also appearing throughout this site.  The excellent Home Page photo of Jim, is the courtesy of Terry.

To ROBERT from Florida, also for photos and songs and for taking the time to send them to me.
